Post Title: Teaching Assistant (Level 2)
Full Time Equivalent Salary = £19917 - £21984 per year
Pro Rata Actual salary = £13323 - £14706 per year.
27.5 hours per week, term time only

We are seeking to appoint a suitably experienced Teaching Assistant to work as members of our learning support team at this happy and supportive school.

We would welcome applicants who:
• Are caring, patient and can work well as part of a team
• Have the ability to inspire and motivate individuals and groups of children
• Have effective organisational, interpersonal and motivational skills
• Have some experience of supporting children who are autistic
• are able to work with children across the primary age range

The successful candidate will:
• Support children in a range of classes with their learning
• Lead intervention groups in a range of subjects
• Support children on an individual basis
• Be prepared to undertake further professional development

These posts are temporary in the first instance because the posts are funded using resources attached to an Education Health Care Plan. Funding is dependent on the successful integration of pupils in our primary mainstream setting. The successful applicant may or may not work with this child personally.
