Job information

Are you looking for a fast paced and rewarding career in Adult Social Care?
Join us on our pursuit to support adults in Barnet to live as independently as possible for as long as possible.
We are a confident, creative, caring multi-disciplinary team and we’re expanding!
We’re looking for enthusiastic, dedicated individuals from diverse backgrounds for the following roles:
• Occupational Therapist
• Social Workers
• Lead Practitioners (senior social workers)
• Assessment and Enablement Officers
• Rehabilitation officer (sensory team)
If you are successful in your initial application, you will be invited to an open assessment event on Friday 6 July. There you will meet staff, some of our partner agencies, and people who use services so you can find out more about working in Adults and Communities.
Visit us at www.jobs.barnet.gov.uk to read more about our service and the benefits of working with Barnet Council.
If you would like to have an informal conversation about the roles available, please contact Andrea Breen, Head of Service on 0208 359 2955

Please note - Barnet Council is moving its main council offices to Colindale in early 2019 to place us at the heart of the community which we support.

If shortlisted you will be required to bring photographic ID to your interview to prove your identity.

Barnet are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people, and vulnerable adults and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. Barnet operates stringent safer recruitment procedures.
