Senior Science Technician

Salary Points 23 - 26, £23,577 - £25,746 per annum
(£19,745 - £21,562 per annum pro rata)
36 hours a week term time only (40 weeks) 8:00am – 3:45pm

Required as soon as possible, a Senior Science Technician to lead the team which prepares materials and equipment for lessons and support teaching staff. Previous experience in a school is desirable but not essential. The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal and management skills, as well as a good level of competence in laboratory work including the safe use and storage of equipment and chemicals.

The science department is a leading area of the curriculum in this high-achieving, over-subscribed 11-18 comprehensive school and converter academy.

The school is committed to promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children. This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act and as such all candidates will be subject to an enhanced DBS check.
