SENIOR LEADERSHIP TEAM/ CLASS TEACHER – TLR 2
Salary – MPR/UPR + £4590 pa for TLR post
Starting: September 2017

Applications are invited from experienced and enthusiastic teachers to join this good (Ofsted 2014) three form entry junior school. We would welcome applications from candidates who:

- Can take a leading role in raising standards of attainment;
- Have the ability to inspire and motivate children & colleagues;
- Have effective organisational, interpersonal and motivational skills;

The successful candidate will be part of the Senior Leadership Team and have specific responsibility for leading the school in the first instance for Numeracy.

The successful candidate will:
• Be an outstanding practitioner
• Support staff through induction, team teaching & modelling
• Use assessment data to monitor progress & attainment
• Monitor the teaching & learning of colleagues
• Lead staff meetings & parent workshops
• Be responsible for leading a year group
• Take a key role in the leadership & management of the school

The successful applicant will also be responsible for a class. Additional leadership time will be given for completion of leadership tasks. Part –time staff are welcome to apply.

The interview process will require a teaching observation (possibly in own school) & a presentation in addition to a professional dialogue regarding mathematics pedagogy.
