Barnet Council is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Public Health Strategist to work on Healthy Places and Health In All Policies across Barnet Council and our stakeholders. This exciting role will give the post holder the opportunity to work with council colleagues in planning, growth and regeneration on issues such as transport, food, healthy weight and green spaces. Leading the development of the public health response to the Barnet Local plan and the integration of public health outcomes into council policy and strategies will be a key role. The post holder needs to have an excellent awareness of local government policy, structures and knowledge of the range of health in all policies with experience of implementing initiatives in a local government context. Skills in the appraisal of policy and public health evidence are essential alongside experience and a Masters in public health.
