An opportunity has arisen in our passenger transport section for term time minibus drivers for our home to school and home to day centre transport provided to special education need children and vulnerable adults.

We are currently based at North London Business Park, Oakleigh Road North, (N11 1NP).
The ideal candidates will also be adaptable, flexible and able to work with the passenger attendants, management, parents, carers, passengers, venue staff and members of the public.
You will be required to interact with parents, passengers and venue staff and need to be able to develop good working relationships quickly. You should be friendly, approachable and have excellent communication skills as well as a caring nature. You should be in good physical health as the role will require some manual handling.
The position will be term time only with flexible hours between 20 to 36. You will be entitled to 30 days annual leave with an opportunity to join the local government pension scheme. You will be required to have a minimum of a clean D1 driving licence with experience, ideally within a passenger transport environment.

We are also offering a position for “as and when” drivers which allows more flexibility for those who may be unable to commit to working a full week but perhaps are just looking to do a few set days a week.

Full Training will be provided to assist you undertaking this role, training is a mandatory requirement.

Appointments will be subject to enhanced DBS check, previous employment references, satisfactory medical, and an 18 week assessment period.
You will need:
A clean and full UK driving licence with a minimum D1 category
Undertake an enhanced DBS check.

If shortlisted you will be required to bring photographic ID to your interview to prove your identity.
