Position: Part time SENCo
Pay Range: Outer London MPR / UPR with a responsibility allowance

The children, staff and governors at St Theresa’s Catholic Primary School are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and inspirational part time, SENCo who is interested in working 3 days a week (0.6 FTE).
This is a wonderful opportunity to be part of the Senior Leadership team at a much loved Catholic Primary school.
We are looking for a confident and capable SENCo to provide support to all children from Reception to Year 6 to enable them to have access to the whole curriculum, ensuring individual needs are met so they reach their full potential.
The successful candidate will be a highly skilled and experienced class teacher who has the vision, expertise and determination to work tirelessly to improve outcomes for SEND and disadvantaged children.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about Special Educational Needs and is able to work in close partnership with parents and carers and liaise with a wide range of external professionals.
Candidates for this role must have:
• A clear understanding of the SEND Code of Practice and the changes that have been made.
• Be a skilled and experienced teacher with outstanding teaching.
• Be committed to ensuring child progress/ raising attainment.
• Have high expectations for pupils learning and set aspirational targets for SEND achievement.
• Effectively implement and manage Education Health Care Plans/Statements.
• Manage the school's provision for Special Educational Needs and Disabilities and Provision Mapping.
• Have an understanding and experience of supporting the learning of pupils with the full range of abilities and needs and a strong track record in making an impact on their progress.
• Have excellent communication, organisation and interpersonal skills.
• Be committed to safeguarding, promoting the welfare of children and promoting equal opportunities for all.
