Colindale Primary school is looking for a highly motivated, experienced Level 3 qualified Nursery Nurse with a professional, responsible approach, to cover for a member of our enthusiastic team implementing the Early Years Foundation Stage while they are on maternity leave. Your knowledge of SEN and ASN requirements mean that as part of our team you will provide an enabling learning environment for all of our children both indoors and outdoors.

Our school is a large three-form entry, multi-cultural primary school in the heart of Colindale in North London, with a Nursery and an additional resource base for pupils with physical disabilities.

Our modern and inspired school building and grounds reflect our ambition to work creatively to build a better future for all our pupils, our parents, our staff and the local community.

Our children are well behaved, polite and respectful towards each other and members of staff. Motivated in their learning, they have high aspirations and good relationships which make them fantastic ambassadors for our school.

Our parents are consistently supportive and keen to work with the school to both enhance their children's learning and achievement as well as ensure the school provides a positive focal point for the local community.

Our staff benefit from our strong emphasis on professional development, shared leadership and an innovative approach to all that we do.

We are committed to protecting and promoting children’s rights and our commitment to this has been recognised by UNICEF in their Rights Respecting School Award. Our Rainbow values are at the heart of who we are and create a positive environment in which both children and staff strive to be the very best they can be. Our commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children is something we expect all staff and volunteers to share.

We are blessed with first class facilities throughout the school and among the many employee benefits available to the staff of Colindale Primary School is the use of our own indoor swimming pool.
