Post Title: Learning Resource Centre Assistant
Salary: SSP 12-15 Salary: £16,595 - £16,780 (actual salary)

Term time only – 36 hours per week (40 weeks term time only)

The Compton is a massively oversubscribed mixed multi-ethnic school that has had four outstanding OFSTED inspections in succession, the most recent being in January 2018.

The Compton School is an academy within a MAT called the Middlesex Learning Trust. It has a national profile for excellence in teaching and learning, in leadership, and for student outcomes. It is a National Teaching School and the Headteacher is an experienced National Leader of Education.

To assist the Learning Resource Centre Manager in promoting and developing an effective and efficient Learning Resource Centre.

The candidate should have:-

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of using a library/Learning Resource Centre to effectively support students
• Demonstrate attention to detail and with the ability to work flexibly
• Have excellent IT skills
