Finance Administrator
30-36 hours a week, to be agreed
five days a week, term-time plus one week
Salary Point 18-21 (£19,917- £21,984 Full Time Equivalent)
We wish to appoint a Finance Administrator to work in our busy finance office, managing our online payments system and co-ordinating school trips, the School Development fund and catering administration.
Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills are essential, as is a high level of integrity and a good eye for detail. You should have strong ICT skills and a willingness to learn new systems. The successful candidate will be looking to develop their administrative and organisational skills in a fast-paced environment. Experience of working in a finance role or a school is essential.
Good communication and interpersonal skills, however, are important as you will be dealing with staff, students, parents, and suppliers. You will also need to be flexible, adapting easily to changing priorities. This is a great opportunity to join a friendly established team working in a positive environment.
We are committed to promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children. This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act and as such the successful candidate will be subject to an enhanced DBS check.
Please see the job description and person specification for further details on this exciting role. Candidates wishing to visit the school are welcome to do so by appointment.
An application form for this post can be downloaded from our website and should be returned to the Headteacher, Niamh Arnull, at the above email address.
The closing date is Friday 22nd June 2018 and interviews will be held the following week.
