Examinations Officer

NJC Scale point 35 - 38
£29,092 - £31,459 for 42 Weeks of the Year, 36 hours per week

Start date: September 2018

Wren Academy requires a new Examinations Officer to join a highly motivated office team. The Academy delivers GCSE, BTEC and A Level examinations and will be administering Key Stage 2 assessments when the primary phase extends to Year 6.

The Academy regularly achieves outstanding results in its examinations and is looking to build on that success as we grow and develop as an ‘all through’ 4-18 school.

We require someone who has excellent organisational skills, with relevant experience, able to work on their own initiative and within a team who will bring enthusiasm to the role. The ability to interact professionally on a number of levels is essential as the successful candidate will be required to communicate effectively with academy staff, students, parents and external agencies including examination boards.

The successful applicant will lead in both internal and external examinations at the Academy, have excellent data analysis skills, the ability to lead a well-established invigilation team, and be willing to utilise those skills as required within the Academy.

The detailed job description, additional information about the Academy and the post and the application form are available to download from our website: www.wrenacademy.org/recruitment

Closing date: Midday on 19 March 2018

Wren Academy is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
