Underhill School and Children’s Centre is a wonderful community school in the heart of a rich and diverse community along Mays Lane in Barnet.

We are looking for an experienced Early Years Practitioner, with a relevant Level 3 qualification and a minimum of 2 years continuous experience working in a Nursery setting with ages 2-5.
The successful candidate will:
• bring their creativity, energy, knowledge, skills and initiative to work everyday
• help to maintain and develop our child focused, enabling learning environment, both indoors and outdoors, where children are safe, happy and making progress
• confidently support , plan and monitor children’s progress, achievements and responses through observation, assessment and recording of achievements
• be an inclusive practitioner who demands a learning environment, which supports and reflects diversity amongst the children and ensures that all children have equal access to learning & development opportunities
• be a confident communicator who forms positive relationships with our team, parents and carers and wider school community
• be a positive role model who reflects our school’s ethos and values

This is a fixed term post until July 2018 initially and will be reviewed with a view to extending the position depending on budget.
