Barnet is looking to recruit a Community Safety Analyst to join their expanding team. You will undertake analysis to further the council’s understanding of crime and anti-social behaviour in Barnet.
The post is being offered as a 1 year fixed term contract or a secondment opportunity for internal candidates. Working with the council and its partners you will be using data to identify emerging crime and anti-social behaviour hotspots around the borough. You will assist the Senior Partnership Performance Analyst to ensure that strong interagency work is developed to support the priorities of the Safer Communities Strategy. You will work closely with officers across the Community Safety Partnership producing analytical products on key agendas within these areas.

You will have the ability to write reports for a wide range of audiences as well as the ability to develop effective working relationships with officers across a range of partnership agencies. This exciting role will also require the skills of working in a political environment; Experience of advanced methods of statistical analysis is desirable but not essential.
