Post Title: Caretaker with Site Cleaning Duties

Required: as soon as possible

Responsible to: School Business Manager

Salary and hours : £18,375 - 36 hours a week, 52 weeks a year.

Annual leave entitlement - 22 days (increasing over time)

Term time working pattern:
Monday to Friday 7.15am-11.15am and Monday to Friday 3pm – 6pm

General Responsibilities include:
• Opening the school gates in the morning and greeting the children and families
• Carrying out repairs and DIY projects as necessary
• Keeping the school clean and tidy
• General Health and Safety duties
• Helping keep the children safe
• Locking up and ensuring the alarm system is working

About The School:

Trent is a popular, one form entry, Church of England Primary school in Cockfosters.

There is one playground for all the children, a garden area and a large field for use in the summer. The garden area, including vegetable patch, is maintained by the Gardening Club.

The school is located in the suburbs and is partially overlooked by leafy trees.

Previous caretaking experience is desirable, but not essential. Training is provided.
